ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROGRAMS
English Language Programs (ELP) provide classes and academic English language support designed to increase non-native English speaking students' English language proficiency and facilitate their academic success at Washington University and beyond.
Some general ELP information can be found on this site; however, they are their own entity and maintain their own website with complete details about the classes and programs offered. For more information about the ELP summer program or other courses offered through ELP, visit the ELP website.

VOLUNTARY ENGLISH TESTING FOR POSTDOCS
Washington University postdocs may schedule a time with an ELP instructor for a brief test of English writing, speaking, and listening skills. This test lasts about 1/2 hour, and you may choose the date and time. The instructor would be happy to discuss your professional development plan and describe the upper-level courses offered by the English Language Programs (ELP). Courses offered by the ELP are free for most postdocs, most graduate students, and Washington University employees after one year.
To schedule a time, please complete the online sign-up form. All testing will take place on the Medical School campus in the Farrell Learning and Teaching Center (FLTC), Room 201.
