In St. Louis over Winter Break? Enjoy a Home Cooked Meal with an American Family!
The Home Plate program is offering a special winter break dinner with American families for those international students who are here in St. Louis during the break. The Home Plate staff will match you with a dinner host. The dinner host will arrange transportation to and from campus to their home where a couple of international students will enjoy a home cooked meal with an American family.

Attention: Washington University Women from Developing Countries
The Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund (MMMF) is an outreach program of the World Bank Family Network. The fund provides financial assistance to women from developing countries during their studies in the United States or Canada. The MMMF annually awards about six to ten grants of approximately $12,000 each. Click for qualifying details and deadline.

Travelers Safety Inspection
On Saturday, December 5, 2009, the Washington University Police and Parking Services, in partnership with Hartmann's Towing, will once again sponsor a free Traveler's Vehicle Inspection service to student's, faculty and staff.
